According to insider Elliotte Friedman, Chicago Blackhawks forward Luke Philp has officially hit the waiver wire.
Pitlick, 32, has tallied one goal and three assists across 34 games this season with the Rangers. He is currently under a one-year contract worth $787,500.
Originally drafted as the 31st overall pick by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL Draft, Pitlick has played 420 NHL games, amassing 56 goals and 109 points while playing for various teams including the Oilers, Dallas Stars, Philadelphia Flyers, Arizona Coyotes, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, and Rangers.
Philp, 28, hasn't seen action this season due to recovering from Achilles surgery in August
