The Blackhawks have placed forward Rem Pitlick on waivers with the intention of sending him to AHL Rockford, as reported by Chris Johnston of The Athletic and TSN.

Pitlick was acquired by Chicago from the Penguins on January 6 in exchange for a conditional 2026 seventh-round pick. Since joining the Blackhawks, the 26-year-old has appeared in nine games but has yet to register a point. He has posted a -7 rating while averaging 15 minutes and 35 seconds of ice time per game.
