The Blainville, Quebec native has played 66 career AHL games with Belleville from 2020 to 2024, with a 28-28-5 record, a .896 save percentage, a 3.30 goals-against average, and one shutout. Mandolese has also appeared in three NHL games for Ottawa in the 2022-23 season, with a 1-2-0 record, a .916 save percentage, and a 3.29 goals-against average. Additionally, he has played 15 ECHL games with Allen and the Atlanta Gladiators and participated in nine playoff games during Allen's Kelly Cup Playoffs run in 2022-23.
Before turning pro, Mandolese played for the QMJHL's Cape Breton franchise from 2016 to 2020, where he led the league with a .925 save percentage and earned First All-Star Team honors in the 2019-20 season.
