Sean Higgins faces serious charges, including two counts of vehicular manslaughter while under the influence. He could be sentenced to over 20 years in prison and fined up to $400,000.
Tragically, Johnny Gaudreau was preparing to attend his sister's wedding the following day. The wedding has been called off as the family mourns this devastating loss.
Johnny Gaudreau had just finished an 81-game season, scoring 12 goals and tallying 60 points. He was set to start his third year with the Blue Jackets before his untimely death. His fans will deeply miss him as the new season begins.
