Reportedly, controversial forward Evander Kane was visibly upset following a humiliating loss, engaging in heated arguments with Oilers teammates in the locker room.

The Edmonton Oilers suffered a tough loss in Game 1 of their second-round series against the Vancouver Canucks, blowing a 4-1 lead and ultimately falling 5-4.

Oilers captain Connor McDavid acknowledged the Canucks' resilience in clawing back.

"They're a good team and they were doing everything they could to come back and we were doing everything we could to hold on to the lead. That happens in the playoffs."
