This isn't the first time Coffey has faced such allegations. In 2014, he was suspended for three games by the Greater Toronto Hockey League for using a discriminatory term towards another minor hockey coach during a game.
Hey All. This wouldn't be the first time Paul Coffey used a slur or racist gesture.
I don't think he needs you to rush to defend his honour lol
Fans are wary given Coffey's past, suggesting that there might be substance to the current allegations. The Oilers will hope that this distraction doesn't affect their performance in the series against the Canucks.
