Linus Ullmark faces an unfortunate setback with the Ottawa Senators
Ottawa Senators goaltender Linus Ullmark faced a setback against the Los Angeles Kings and his status remains uncertain.
The Senators faced some uncertainty just before their game against the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday. Newly acquired goaltender Linus Ullmark, formerly of the Boston Bruins, was missing from practice. Despite this, the situation seemed more serious when, just before the game, the Senators made an emergency call-up. Goaltender Mads Sogaard was recalled from the Belleville Senators, indicating that Ullmark might be dealing with something more than just routine maintenance.
Sogaard, who hasn't yet played in the NHL this season, made 27 saves in an AHL game, posting a strong .964 save percentage despite the loss.
