Insider Chris Johnston has confirmed pending Toronto Maple Leafs unrestricted free agent forward Tyler Bertuzzi's future.

Bertuzzi is expected to test free agency on July 1st, according to a report by NHL insider Chris Johnston. While Bertuzzi is looking at his options, there's still a chance he might return to Toronto.
Johnston also mentioned uncertainty around fellow free agent Max Domi, who wants a longer-term contract.
"It sounds like Tyler Bertuzzi is likely to test the market at this point. Not exactly clear on Max Domi. There's sort of mixed signals there... he's looking for some security, right? I would think it would take a 3, maybe 4-year deal at minimum to compel him to sign before July 1st."

Both Bertuzzi and Domi could still stay in Toronto, but the team might need to offer longer contracts to keep them.
Bertuzzi, 29, scored 21 goals, had 22 assists, and totaled 43 points in 80 games this past season. He also had one goal and four points in the playoffs.
Domi, also 29 and the son of former Leafs fan favorite Tie Domi, scored 9 goals, had 38 assists, and totaled 47 points in 80 games. He added one goal and four points during the playoffs.
