Things are looking up in Toronto. After losing four of their last five games, they managed to beat the undefeated Jets in Winnipeg 6 to 4 on Monday. Craig Berube's men needed that win to boost their confidence after a rough stretch.
Also, injured players are starting to come back. With Jani Hakanpaa, Connor Dewar, and Calle Jarnkrok all looking to have an impact on the team when they return to the lineup, Berube will need to make tough choices. The coach isn't the only one in this situation, as management will need to make a move. The team needs to free up cap space and they have too many players.
David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period revealed that the Leafs could be interested in parting ways with Nicholas Robertson or Calle Jarnkrok. Pagnotta even stated that the team could already be taking calls for them.

Jarnkrok might be harder to move due to his $2.1 million contract. However, Pagnotta stated that the Los Angeles Kings could be interested in acquiring him:
As for Robertson, he continued to struggle this season despite a great preseason. It's unfortunate because he was looking like he'd finally get his breakout year. In nine games this season, he only scored one point, a goal, and was healthy scratched for the first time this year in the Leafs win over the Jets.
Pagnotta believes he could still be traded out of Toronto:
It'll be interesting if teams decide to take a chance on Jarnkrok or Robertson, but one thing's certain: it would be surprising to see the Leafs get a lot in return for either of them.
