Former Vancouver Canucks goaltender offers to come out of retirement to play for Thatcher Demko.

The Vancouver and Nashville playoff series faces challenges as Canucks deal with player absences. Tyler Myers is out of game two due to illness, and Thatcher Demko's status is uncertain.

"Myers, he had the flu today, and he was really under the weather. And then Demmer got evaluated today, he's gonna be probably week to week."

Star forward Brock Boeser may also be sidelined after leaving practice early due to a wrist hit.

"Canucks forward Brock Boeser leaving practice early. Appeared to get hit in left hand/wrist area by a shot during a power play drill"

Meanwhile, former Canucks goalie Eddie Lack jokes about coming out of retirement to help.

Though humorous, fans rally behind the idea.

The Canucks are tied with the Predators in the first-round series, with the third game tonight at Bridgestone Arena."
