Alex Ovechkin reveals a bad habit for his team in recent interview

Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin has revealed his teammates' love for beer in the team's dressing room.
Ovechkin, known for his wild celebrations after the Capitals won the Stanley Cup in 2018, didn't hold back in a recent interview.

In an interview with blogger Amiran Sardarov, Ovechkin was asked about the presence of alcohol in locker rooms. He openly admitted to enjoying a few beers after games and called out players who claim they don't drink.
«I don't hide it,» Ovechkin said. «I like the taste of beer. I like light beer, sometimes I can drink Guinness.»
He continued, «I can't imagine a [player] who says he doesn't drink, �he quit.' You can take a break for a certain time, but after the game, 2 to 3 cans of beer � with pleasure. It's useful. In Washington, we have a refrigerator with beer in the coaching room. It's normal.»
Ovechkin even mentioned that there's a beer fridge right in the coach's room.

When asked about his fondness for beer, Ovechkin explained the benefits of a cold drink after a game.
«We just like to relax. After hockey, you are tired, a couple of glasses of wine or beer is normal It relieves tension.»
