Ryan Reaves, the NHL heavyweight Champ, is known for his willingness to do whatever it takes to give his team an advantage, often by delivering big hits or engaging in fights. In a recent game between the Minnesota Wild and the Arizona Coyotes, Reaves was up to his usual tricks.

During the game, Reaves threw a massive hit against a defender on the forecheck, prompting rookie forward Boko Imama to challenge him. Earlier in the game, the two had exchanged words during warm-ups, and Imama made it clear that he wanted to make a name for himself.

Reaves quickly accepted the challenge and dropped his gloves to square off against Imama. However, it was apparent that Imama was out of his league and continued to back away, lunging in on several occasions. Reaves recognized that the young player was overmatched and did everything possible to protect him, as it was clear that Reaves could have easily knocked him out if he wanted to.

Fortunately, the two did not engage in another fight during the game, which was a wise decision by Imama.
