During his NHL career, Sharp played a key role for several teams, but he achieved the most success with the Chicago Blackhawks, winning the Stanley Cup there. Over his career, Sharp accumulated 624 points in 939 NHL games and was also a member of Team Canada's Olympic team, winning gold in 2014.
Sharp has now left the Blackhawks for a new job with the Flyers, returning to the team where his career began. He will serve as a special advisor to the hockey operations department. While he may no longer be a player, Flyers fans will be happy to see him back with their team.
Sharp enjoyed his time as a broadcaster for the Blackhawks, but he began to miss his family and being home. This led him to leave Chicago and join the Flyers.
The Flyers have shown promise recently, and with Sharp's hands-on approach, he can provide valuable guidance to help the team achieve greater success.
