Two seasoned NHL general managers, Julien BriseBois and Kyle Dubas, will play pivotal roles in the tournament and Canada's Men's Olympic Team. Julien BriseBois, a two-time Stanley Cup champion, has been appointed assistant general manager for the 4 Nations Face-Off. Kyle Dubas, previously associate GM at the 2024 IIHF World Championship, will serve as director of player personnel. They join general manager Don Sweeney and associate GM Jim Nill, both of whom have impressive NHL backgrounds.
Julien BriseBois is known for leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to consecutive Stanley Cup victories in 2020 and 2021. He has also served as assistant GM with Tampa Bay and GM for the Syracuse Crunch and Norfolk Admirals, with roles in the Montréal Canadiens organization. Kyle Dubas, now in his second season as GM and president of hockey operations for the Pittsburgh Penguins, was previously GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He is recognized for his innovative approach and led the Toronto Marlies to their first Calder Cup championship in 2018.
Canada will kick off the 4 Nations Face-Off against Sweden on February 12, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT at the Bell Centre in Montréal. Additional matches include games against the United States on February 15 and Finland on February 17, with the championship game on February 20 in Boston. The complete roster will be revealed between November 29 and December 2, with assistant coaches and support staff announcements to follow shortly thereafter.
