On Tuesday, the NHL announced that New Era will be the new manufacturer of official headwear for all 32 teams starting in the 2024-25 season.
In recent years, Fanatics was responsible for making hats for all NHL teams. They faced a lot of criticism over the quality of their products, which surprised many fans when they heard Fanatics would be taking over from Adidas to design NHL jerseys next year.
Here are some examples of poorly made hats by Fanatics from the last few seasons. With New Era taking over, the quality should greatly improve. Fans hope that Fanatics doesn't ruin the jerseys when they start making those next year.
