It appears that the NHL is facing the loss of a significant sponsorship deal as the current season comes to a close. This is the final year the NHL will be partnering with BioSteel.

BioSteel, a Canadian sports drink company co-founded by former NHL forward Mike Cammalleri, is reportedly facing substantial debt amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars. Consequently, they will not be renewing their sponsorship deal for the upcoming year.

According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, it seems that this season will be the last with BioSteel as the "Official Hydration Partner" of the NHL & NHLPA. Although not yet officially confirmed, there's word that BodyArmor will take over the partnership starting from the 2024-25 season.

Sounds like this will be the last season with BioSteel as the «Official Hydration Partner» of the NHL & NHLPA. It's not yet confirmed, but word out there is BodyArmor will be taking over the partnership starting 2024-25.

BioSteel also holds sponsorship deals with USA Hockey, the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association, and the NHLPA. Additionally, they are endorsed by Edmonton Oilers' star captain, Connor McDavid.
