The branding for the Utah Hockey Club is taking shape, with fans discovering new logos by checking the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
This method has consistently revealed new information about the team. A few weeks ago, fans found a list of potential team names through trademark applications, including "Utah Yeti" and "Utah Blizzard." Now, thanks to more detective work, we have an idea of what the team logos might look like for their inaugural season.
It seems likely that some, if not all, of these logos will be used by the team in their first season. You can expect to see these logos on team merchandise and possibly their jerseys.
One fan even created a mockup of what the team's jerseys could look like. Instead of using the new logos, they used the same color palette and placed a "UTAH" wordmark across the chest, similar to the New York Rangers' style.
While some fans noted the color palette is a bit similar to the Seattle Kraken, the mockup jerseys look impressive.
Stay tuned for updates on the Utah Hockey Club's jerseys and branding as their first season approaches.
