Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane has once again faced disciplinary action from the National Hockey League Department of Player Safety, resulting in a fine.
Kane Fined For Spearing Sillinger
Kane has been fined a total of $2,500 for an incident during last night's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he allegedly speared Jackets forward Cole Sillinger while on the bench.
Evander Kane apparently skated by the #CBJ bench early 2nd and speared Sillinger which is why he was fined today.

According to the official press release, the incident happened at 0:46 of the second period during NHL Game No. 995 in Columbus on Thursday, March 7.
"Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane has been fined $2,500 for unsportsmanlike conduct against Columbus Blue Jackets forward Cole Sillinger during NHL Game No. 995 in Columbus on Thursday, March 7, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 0:46 of the second period. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund."
