Adding to their strong off-season, Utah has secured Egor Sokolov from Ottawa. At 23 years old and standing tall at 6-foot-3, Sokolov brings size and potential to the team, making this a promising, low-risk acquisition.

Sokolov has impressed with the Belleville Senators, scoring 19, 21, and 21 goals in his last three seasons there. While he has limited NHL experience with just 13 games, he's shown promise with one goal and one assist.

In return, Ottawa receives Jan Jenik, another 23-year-old with bright prospects. This trade presents a low-risk opportunity for both teams, offering potential benefits for each side in the seasons ahead.
