Social media is a disgusting place when tragic events like this happen, as people hurry to make sense of the sad events that occurred. Some terrible people are making the wrong conclusion, and have now forced Matt Petgrave off social media after berating him for the accident that occurred to Adam Johnson. Unfortunately, it was Petgrave's skate that struck Johnson.

Comments Are Disgusting and Outright Racist
The comments towards Petgrave are despicable, and show the worst side of humanity. Anyone who has ever played hockey knows this was a tragic accident. People who decide to believe otherwise and attack Petgrave should be the ones to have their social media accounts locked and shut off.
The attacks are clearly not about what happened, as many of them are straight-up racist comments towards Petgrave. Hockey has no place for this type of behaviour.
