The Saskatoon Blades announced last Friday that Larry Korchinski, who played for the WHL team, had passed away. He is the father of Kevin Korchinski.
We're devastated to hear of the passing of Saskatoon Blades alumnus, Larry Korchinski.

The entire Chicago Blackhawks squad attended Korchinski's funeral on Friday, which is a fantastic gesture on behalf of his teammates.
Connor Murphy: "It's unimaginable what him and his family are going through. We were really fortunate to be with them there yesterday. For us to get closer and for them to feel our love, that we're there for them, is most important."
The 7th overall pick in 2022 has played in 25 games this season and is making a name for himself. The 19 year old stud defenseman has 2 goals and 7 assists and doesn't look out of place on a rebuilding squad playing against men.
