A wild game occurred recently between the Branford Bulldogs and Peterborough Petes that has now led to major suspensions.

OHL Gives Out Suspensions & Fines For Massive Brawl

After an electric game ending in overtime, a chaotic bench-clearing brawl occurred between the Brantford Bulldogs and Peterborough Petes. Both teams received fines and suspensions for their part in the brawl.

After one of the wildest OHL incidents in years saw the Brantford and Peterborough benches clear and brawl after OT in their game on Saturday, the league has announced discipline.

Petes: $2,000
Konnor Smith: 4 games

Bulldogs: $1,000
Lucas Moore: 2 games
Noah Roberts: 2 games

The video I have of the actual brawl is almost six minutes in length, so it's too long to post here, but here's a screenshot. It was mayhem. Announcers unable to identify who was beating up on who. Refs unable to prevent players from beating up on each other on the ground. Ugly.

On top of the suspensions for the fight at the end another player has been suspended for actions earlier in the night.

Bulldogs defenceman Cedricson Okitundo has also been suspended for three games after he was assessed a match penalty for cross-checking in the first period of that game.

This game was absolute chaos and got out of hand by the end of the night. Now the organization and its players will face the consequences and move forward.
