A recent report reveals that Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak nearly faced missing the entire 2024-25 season due to a hip injury. After the Bruins were eliminated in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Florida Panthers, Pastrnak quickly flew home to Czechia to help his country win the World Championship.

In an interview, Pastrnak discussed his health, mentioning he had a hip injury that initially required surgery. However, he received treatment from an expert, which has greatly improved his condition, and he now believes surgery might not be necessary.

Here's what Pastrnak said:

"Did you come to the world championship in good health?

- No, I have a hip. We'll see what happens. Before the championship, I was told that I would definitely have to have surgery. But what Professor Kolář demonstrated here with me... I owe him a big thank you, I haven't felt this good in eight months. I don't know what kind of magic hands he has, but I really haven't skated as well as I did at the WC in a long time.

- Are you still at risk of surgery?

- We'll see. Mr. Kolář says no, so I will believe him."

If Pastrnak ends up needing surgery, he could miss most of the next season. Stay tuned for the latest updates on his health.
