St. Louis Blues insider Jeremy Rutherford has revealed a major development involving Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk, who is reportedly expected to be traded.

Brady Tkachuk, a power forward, represents a dwindling style of NHL player as the game shifts toward more skill over strength. These players are highly valued for their ability to influence games and agitate opponents.

According to Rutherford, Tkachuk is set to hit the trade block, with the St. Louis Blues being a potential destination.

Jeremy Rutherford joined #TheOpeningDrive to talk about the rumblings, if the move would fit the Blues offseason & the haul it could potentially take.

It sounds like there is real smoke behind a Brady Tkachuk trade this offseason, with the St. Louis Blues being listed as a potential fit.

As per, Jeremy Rutherford.

While trading for Tkachuk would require a substantial offer, he is likely worth it, similar to how his brother, Matthew Tkachuk, was a significant asset for the Florida Panthers.

The Blues were contenders for Matthew Tkachuk but lost out to the Panthers, who made a very generous offer for him.

We'll have to wait and see if the Senators decide to trade Brady Tkachuk this offseason and, if they do, which team he ends up with.
