Former Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils & Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall could become a big trade target this season. After being limited to just 10 games last year because of injury Hall is now healthy & back in action with the Chicago Blackhawks. He's had a slow start with one goal one assist & a minus 5 rating in his first six games but we believe he will regain his previous form as he shakes off all the rust from the missed time last year.
Hall who was drafted first overall in 2010 & won a Hart Trophy is in the final year of his contract. The Chicago Blackhawks are in the middle of a full rebuild so he could become a major trade asset in the upcoming trade deadline. Teams are always looking for more scoring depth before the playoffs & Hall could provide that when he's at his best.
His time with the Bruins where he scored 44 goals & registered 111 points in 158 games over three seasons shows his ability to perform at a high level. Teams looking to add more offense will be interested especially considering Hall's proven track record & experience.
If Hall improves his point totals & stays healthy he could attract attention from lots of teams in need of a offensive boost. His mix of skill & playoff experience makes him an attractive rental option for other playoff teams. With that being said it will be interesting to see how Hall's season goes & if he'll remain with the Blackhawks or be moved to a another team looking to go deep in the playoffs.
