If you don't know the news yet, Detroit Red Wings forward David Perron has been suspended 6 games by NHL Player Safety for his cross check on Ottawa Senators defenseman Artem Zub.
Here is the play :
Red Wings fans are clearly not happy with how things panned out espesically losing their captain Dylan Larkin for the unforeseeable future. But one thing that doesn't make sense is the length of the suspension and Perron's agent Allan Walsh called out George Parros for the way he handled the situation.
I don't always agree with Allan Walsh, but he's bang on with this one. There has been zero consistency and accountability with NHL Player Safety under Parros' direction.
Meanwhile the Detroit Red Wings released an update on Dylan Larkin's Injury.
We hope to see him back on the ice sooner rather than later.
Stay tuned for more updates.
