Oilers star forward Leon Draisaitl displayed his frustration in a new interview which has sparked major concerns in Edmonton.

The Edmonton Oilers' dream of bringing the Stanley Cup back to Canada has turned into a nightmare. On Thursday night, the Oilers lost 4-3 to the Florida Panthers in Game 3 of the Finals. This loss put the Panthers ahead 3-0 in the series, meaning they could win the Cup in Canada on Saturday.
After the game, star forward Leon Draisaitl expressed his frustration to the media.
«I pride myself on being good in the playoffs and playing well, just can't seem to get anything going.»

At the start of the season, captain Connor McDavid and Draisaitl made it clear that this year was "Cup or Bust" for the Oilers. With the team on the verge of being swept, trade rumors surrounding Draisaitl are likely to increase. Recently, there has been talk of him potentially being traded to the San Jose Sharks or the Boston Bruins.
Draisaitl is entering the final season of an eight-year, $68 million contract ($8.5M AAV) and is expected to earn a significant pay raise.
There is a lot of speculation about what will happen with Draisaitl next. If the Oilers fail to win the Stanley Cup, more teams and trade rumors are likely to be linked to him before the start of the 2024-25 season.
Historically, teams with a 3-0 lead in a best-of-seven final have a record of 27-1.
