The Montreal Canadiens are taking on the Ottawa Senators tonight and there is reportedly a plethura of scouts in attendance eyeing the return of one specific player to the NHL.

Canadiens Xhekaj Brings In Scouts From Half Of The NHL

Arber Xhekaj is making his NHL return tonight and when he was playing in the NHL just a season ago teams were dreaming of a physical force like Xhekaj.

According to David Pagnotta their is full attendance of scouts tonight in the crowd.

Full house of scouts and reps at the Sens/Habs game tonight in Montreal: ANA, AZ, BOS (2), BUF, CBJ, DAL (3), FLA, NAS, NJ, SJ, TB (2), TOR (2), VAN, VGK, WPG (2)

Many of these teams are looking to bolster their teams in various different ways. Some of these teams may be looking Xhekaj and Monahan as possible additions.

Xhekaj's Journey To The NHL

Arber Xhekaj caught the hearts of many with his journey into the NHL and immediately established himself as one of the NHL's premier tough guys.

Xhekaj was fighting everyone in his path to become the toughest guy in the league. However this year in 17 games with the Canadiens he was held to just 3 points and 47 penalty minutes.

He was then sent down to Laval to hopefully help improve his game, and well it seems to have worked. In 17 AHL games Xhekaj has 11 points during that span.

Xhekaj will look to showcase his new game to fans tonight.
