Contract demands of Rangers star goaltender Igor Shesterkin have been released
New York Rangers star goaltender Igor Shesterkin is up for a contract extension, and his camp's surprising demands have been made public.
According to NY Post reporter Mollie Walker, Shesterkin could be seeking a deal with an average annual value (AAV) of $12 million. His current contract, which has a cap hit of $5.67 million, expires next season. This new demand would more than double his current salary.
