Cody Glass has just been traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins from the Nashville Predators, and fans are already giving him a hard time. However, Glass isn't staying silent as he's fired back on social media.

The Nashville Predators traded Cody Glass, along with a 2025 3rd-round pick and a 2026 6th-round pick, to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Jordan Frasca.

Some Penguins fans are unhappy with the trade, likely because Glass, who was the 7th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, has yet to live up to his potential. Pittsburgh will be his third NHL team.

These concerns have led to Glass being criticized online, with one fan calling him a "scrub." Glass responded by telling the fan to give him a chance before making any judgments.

With comments like these, Glass seems motivated to prove his critics wrong. After playing 41 games for the Predators last season, scoring six goals and 13 points, Glass is looking for a bounce-back year. Throughout his NHL career, he has 29 goals and 71 points in 187 games.

Despite his struggles in the NHL, Glass had an outstanding junior career and is eager to improve his performance. Hopefully, Penguins fans will give him some time to show his worth.
