Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby linked to the Toronto Maple Leafs
Sidney Crosby has been eligible to sign a contract extension with the Pittsburgh Penguins since Monday, but no deal has been made yet. This has fans worried and many pundits talking.
TSN's Bryan Hayes even suggested a shocking scenario where Crosby could sign with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Crosby's agent Pat Brisson mentioned before the NHL Draft that he would discuss with Crosby the vision for the coming years in Pittsburgh and whether Crosby likes the future outlook with the team that selected him first overall in 2005.
Hayes knows the Maple Leafs aren't afraid to make bold moves, which fed into his scenario of parting with captain John Tavares and leaving that spot for Crosby.
Tavares has had a disappointing run in Toronto, and there are rumors of him being stripped of his captaincy. All of this chatter adds up and makes you wonder if Hayes is onto something.
Crosby is busy dealing with rumors, and if the Penguins don't make the necessary changes to become true contenders again, the Pittsburgh captain might consider going home to Canada. But would it be with the Maple Leafs?
