The Leafs have struggled on the blueline this year, mostly due to injuries, but also some unfortunate play from new additions. This has left new GM Brad Treliving on the lookout for potential additions to the Leafs' defence.
Elliotte Freidman just revealed that Treliving could now be looking at his former team in order to find reinforcements for the Leafs.
The Leafs' main struggle so far this season has been the blueline. They have unfortunately suffered some injuries that have made it more difficult. New addition John Klingberg has also struggled to find his groove yet this year. It is unlikely that Giordano will be able to continue his heavy minutes long into the season and playoffs given his age.
Adding to the Leafs' blueline might be imperative for success this year.
