Forbes notes that last season, the Maple Leafs were linked to Fleury, and as the trade deadline approaches, there's a possibility they might revisit this option.
Forbes reminds fans of Fleury's near move to the Leafs in March 2022 when he was with the Chicago Blackhawks. The transaction didn't materialize, but Fleury expressed openness to joining Toronto at that time.
