Maple Leafs Players Caught Persuading Nikita Zadorov To Choose Toronto
The Toronto Maple Leafs have started well offensively this year, but the back end of their lineup has severely struggled, and now it appears they're looking to make a massive change to their blue line.

After competing hard against Toronto in the Flames shootout loss, Zadorov's agent took to social media to announce the veteran defenseman has requested a trade, and unsurprisingly, the Leafs were linked to him immediately.
With interest in Chris Tanev as well, the stars may be aligning for a massive deal between the two teams, but as of right now, it appears as though Toronto are the front runners for the 6-foot-6, 248 pound defenseman.
Maple Leafs players already recruiting the veteran defenseman
Now, just a matter of days after this news broke, anonymous Maple Leafs players have reportedly been recruiting Zadorov, revealing to him that he's exactly what the team needs.
The following is from Elliotte Friedman, who believes that a key Toronto player has Zadorov in his sights, and was actively recruiting him on the ice.
JM: «Hang on, was that former teammate and London Knight Max Domi?»
EF: «I don't know. They wouldn't tell me who said it.»
Where he ends up will likely come down to who offers the best package for the veteran, but if the Maple Leafs players and GM, former Flames GM Brad Treliving believe he is indeed what they need, this is a deal that will likely end up getting done.
