In Thursday night's game between the Leafs and the St.Louis Blues, Matthews' line was directly responsible for the Blues' third goal in the Leafs' 5-1 loss. After the mistake, Craig Berube even lashed out at his captain on the bench.
Following the tough loss, Matthews opened up about Berube's reaction and owned his mistake, highlighting his great leadership.

Matthews, who entered the season with big expectations, will need to step up if he wants to achieve his goals.
