According to reports, Yeo is leaving to seek new opportunities.
Yeo is now being linked to the Toronto Maple Leafs, who are forming a new coaching staff under Craig Berube. Yeo and Berube have a history together, having both served on the St. Louis Blues' coaching staff before Yeo was fired and Berube led the team to a Stanley Cup.
A Maple Leafs writer noted that Yeo could be a candidate for an assistant coaching position in Toronto. Given his past relationship with Berube, it's not surprising he's being considered for the role. While it's unclear if this is the job Yeo was seeking, it wouldn't be surprising to see him join Berube's staff for the 2024-25 season.
