A new report confirms that the Vegas Golden Knights plan to let go of three players this offseason, including a 25-goal scorer.

Big decisions are being made in Vegas as they enter the offseason. They have six unrestricted free agents to handle, and general manager Kelly McCrimmon is looking to lighten his workload.

The team has announced that they don't plan to re-sign Michael Amadio, William Carrier, and Anthony Mantha. All three players are aware of their situation and will seek new contracts on July 1st.

Mantha joined the Golden Knights at the last trade deadline in exchange for two draft picks. In 18 regular-season games with Vegas, he scored 10 points, including three goals. He also scored three goals in six playoff games.

Carrier has been with Vegas since the beginning, selected in the expansion draft from the Buffalo Sabres.

Amadio, the 28-year-old winger, scored 27 points in 73 games this season. He will be remembered for his 10-point contribution during the 2022-23 Stanley Cup run.

This decision leaves Jonathan Marchessault, Chandler Stephenson, and Alec Martinez as the remaining free agents.

Martinez, 37, is nearing the end of his career and may not be a priority for Vegas. He'll likely explore his options this summer.

Both Marchessault and Stephenson will be interesting options on the market if the Golden Knights don't offer them new deals.
