Massive Update On Ryan Reaves' Injury Has Been Revealed

Ryan Reaves recently suffered a lower-body injury during the Toronto Maple Leafs recent game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, requiring assistance off the ice after colliding in the boards.

Initially, there were concerns that Reaves might be placed on the LTIR (Long-Term Injured Reserve), as suggested by insider Elliotte Friedman.

Toronto: Brodie game-time (illness). Liljegren returns from injury. Martin Jones in goal. Injury to Ryan Reaves not as serious as it appeared. Likely IR, but not LTIR

Keefe says Ryan Reaves injury isn't as bad as it appeared. He will be on IR but not long term.

Reaves is now set to focus on his recovery, with hopes among fans that he will make a return to the Leafs lineup sooner rather than later.
