General Manager Kyle Davidson praised Dickinson's two-way game and consistent competitiveness, highlighting his positive impact on the team's young players. The contract extension will keep Dickinson with the Blackhawks through the 2025-26 season, with an average annual value of $4.25 million.
Dickinson was acquired from the Vancouver Canucks before the start of the previous season and has accumulated 53 goals and 72 assists over 404 career games with the Dallas Stars, Canucks, and Blackhawks.
The Georgetown Ontario native, originally selected by Dallas in the 2013 NHL Draft, brings leadership and offensive contributions to the team, making him a valuable asset for the Blackhawks.
