The Pittsburgh Penguins and Buffalo Sabres have just announced changes to their Monday games. Originally scheduled for 6 p.m. ET, the Penguins will now face the Seattle Kraken at 1 p.m. The Sabres, who were set to play at 1 p.m., will now hit the ice at 12.
These adjustments, though minor, will impact players' pre-game routines. The NHL made these changes due to the postponement of an NFL Wild Card game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Buffalo Bills.
Penguins' spokesperson Acklin stated, "When you play Pittsburgh, you play the whole city. The Penguins proudly shifted our puck drop to 1:00 PM on Monday against the Kraken, giving our fans time to get back home and watch our beloved Steelers win over the Bills."
