The National Hockey League has officially confirmed the postponement of Game #691, originally slated for the Buffalo Sabres hosting the Chicago Blackhawks.
This decision follows a tragic event with three casualties in Buffalo following a severe storm.
The rescheduled game will now take place tomorrow, Thursday, January 18, at 7 p.m. ET, reflecting travel restrictions in Buffalo.
In light of these changes, Game #689, initially set between the Detroit Red Wings and the Florida Panthers at 7 p.m. ET tonight, will now be nationally broadcast on TNT in the U.S. Additionally, fans in Detroit and Florida can still catch the action locally on Bally Sports Detroit and Bally Sports Florida.
Stay tuned for updates as teams adjust to this unexpected scheduling shift.
