Yesterday, a major breakthrough in the 2018 Team Canada Junior scandal, where the London Police announced that five players were asked to report at the station to face charges.
"Breaking: Five members of the 2018 world junior hockey team have been told to surrender to London, Ont., police to face charges of ****** , The Globe and Mail reports, citing unnamed sources.
The Globe reports the players, who have not been charged yet, have been given a set period of time to present themselves at London police headquarters. via @robyndoolittle."
Meanwhile, an NHL team announced that two players who were on Team Canada's roster in 2018 would take a leave of absence.
