PK Subban was always one of the most outspoken players in the entire league when he was still playing in the NHL. Perhaps it should have come as no surprise that he would join the hockey media world as an analyst for ESPN. Now he's using his platform to discuss more serious topics in the hockey world.

Subban Describes Representing Canada As A Black Hockey Player

There is perhaps no greater stage for a Canadian profession athlete than representing the country at international events as a hockey player. PK Subban himself described representing the country at the Olympics in hockey as the highest honor a Canadian athlete can achieve.

"Because you could argue that playing for Canada at the Olympics in hockey is the highest level of athletics you can achieve as a Canadian, and that's how I'm getting treated the year I'm winning the Norris trophy as best defenseman in the NHL."

Every hockey fan knows that celebrating goals is one of the most iconic parts of hockey. Some of the most memorable moments in NHL history have been goal celebrations.

The fact that Subban was told not to celebrate his goals is a disgrace. If true, this is another black eye on Hockey Canada.

As seen on P.K. Subban comes forward with serious allegations against Hockey Canada
