The legendary Don Cherry has announced that he is making a comeback for the 2024-2025 season.

Though he no longer has his iconic Coach's Corner segment with Hockey Night In Canada Don Cherry remains active with his podcast where he continues to share his thoughts on hockey. Known for his bold suits & outspoken personality Cherry became a beloved figure in Canada first as a coach & later as an analyst. However, his career took a hit when controversial comments led to his dismissal from Sportsnet in 2019.

Undeterred Cherry launched The Don Cherry Podcast where he shares his opinions on the NHL & answers fan questions. He recently announced that his podcast will continue for the 2024-2025 season which he shared on X.

At 91 Cherry is still keeping a close eye on his favorite teams the Boston Bruins & Toronto Maple Leafs. With both teams undergoing significant changes including the Leafs naming Auston Matthews captain & the Bruins managing Jeremy Swayman, Cherry will have plenty to discuss this season.

Cherry, who played just one NHL game for the Bruins but coached them from 1974 to 1980, is a Canadian icon. He's also known for his delicious Don Cherry's Sports Grill & his popular Rock'em Sock'em hockey video series.

As he continues to share his unique brand of analysis Cherry remains a familiar voice in the hockey world with his opinions on the latest news in the NHL.
