The 2024 offseason has been a period of significant coaching changes for the Maple Leafs organization. First, Craig Berube replaced Sheldon Keefe as the head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Now, the Toronto Marlies, the AHL affiliate of the Maple Leafs, have also made additions to their coaching staff. The Marlies announced that head coach Jon Gruden has hired Steve Sullivan as an assistant coach.
Before joining the Marlies, Steve Sullivan was the head coach of the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes 18U team in 2023-24. He also has AHL experience as an executive with the Tucson Roadrunners from 2017 to 2021. Now, Sullivan is taking on a new challenge, helping to develop the future of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.
