Former Oiler Mark Messier was visibly unhappy but stayed quiet, as the team's performance supported Subban's harsh assessment.
Many fans noticed that Messier seemed to be reminiscing about his playing days as he watched his former team struggle in a crucial game. It even seemed like he wanted to put on his old uniform and join the game.
