The NHL Draft Lottery is scheduled for May 7 at the NHL Network's studio in Secaucus, N.J. This event will determine the order of selection for the first 16 picks in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft, set for June 28�29 at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
Teams that didn't make the Stanley Cup Playoffs or acquired their first-round draft selection will participate. Each team can move up a maximum of 10 spots, meaning only the bottom 11 teams have a shot at the No. 1 pick.
Top prospects Macklin Celebrini and Anton Silayev lead the North American and Europe-based skaters respectively, according to NHL Central Scouting's final rankings.
