The Florida Panthers are coming off a historic season, and they've added a promising young talent to their defense.
After winning their first Stanley Cup in the 2023/24 season, the Panthers saw several key players leave. To fill the gaps, they signed former No. 8 overall pick Adam Boqvist in free agency.
Boqvist, 23, joins the Panthers after three seasons with Columbus, where he had a career year in 2022-23, scoring 24 points in 46 games. With the departures of Oliver Ekman-Larsson and the potential trade of Aaron Ekblad, Boqvist's exact role on the team is still uncertain. However, he brings plenty of talent and experience and will look to help the Panthers chase another Stanley Cup in the 2024/25 season.
