Every bride dreams that her wedding day will be a beautiful celebration of love. Unfortunately, no one envisions it turning into a scene like this. Hockey player Joonas Rask, brother of longtime NHL goaltender Tuukka Rask, has issued an apology after causing a disturbance at a wedding.
The groom publicly accused Rask on social media, claiming that Rask crashed the wedding at a nightclub, where he had been drinking, took off his shirt, grabbed the bride, and pushed her head down while yelling "****** machine!" When asked about the incident, Rask said he honestly doesn't remember, but apologized regardless.
Joonas, 34, was selected by the Nashville Predators in the seventh round of the 2010 NHL entry draft. He played two games for the team before returning home to Finland. After a few years there, Rask's hockey career took him to Sweden to play in the SHL. He returned to the Finnish Elite League last season.
Tuukka Rask, who is four years older than Joonas, spent his entire NHL career with the Boston Bruins, playing 564 regular season games and another 104 in the playoffs, before retiring in 2022. He was a member of the 2011 Boston Bruins team that won the Stanley Cup.
