According to reports, Wennberg will be sitting out tonight's game due to "trade-related issues." Hakstol stated that Wennberg didn't participate in the morning skate and won't be available for the game.
The veteran center has generated interest from multiple clubs, including the Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Carolina Hurricanes and Colorado Avalanche.
Wennberg, who is in the last year of his contract earning $4.5 million annually, has recorded 25 points in 60 games this season while playing as the Kraken's 2nd or 3rd line center.
